John A. Prasetio is currently Senior Advisor of Crowe Horwath Indonesia.
He served as Indonesian Ambassador to Korea for four and a half years up to February 2017. Prior to his stint in Korea, he had a number of positions including the East Asia Regional Senior Advisory Chairman of Ernst & Young Global, Asia Pacific CEO of Andersen Worldwide, Singapore, Executive Board of the SGV Group, Manila, CEO of Prasetio Utomo & Co, Non-Executive Director at Energy Development Corporation, Manila, Independent Commissioner at Bank Permata Tbk., Jakarta, Global Executive Board of Andersen Worldwide, New York etc.
He also held a number of positions at Government Institutions and Non-Government Business Associations including President's National Economic Committee, President's National Business Development Council, Special Staff of Minister of Industry, National Committee on Good Governance, Investment Committee of the Investment Coordinating Board, Advisory Board member to the Association of Publicly Listed Companies, Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Indonesia Chair of APEC Business Advisory Council.
Mr. Prasetio earned a degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia in 1973 and attended various executive programs abroad such as Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School, USA in 1980.
