Housing Associations

As Government investment in social housing takes off, the profile of social housing providers is set to change, as is the regulation of the sector.

Registered social landlords (RSLs), local authorities, Arm’s Length Management Organisations (ALMOs) and private sector developers all have a role in the future of the sector. We will see more changes to the pattern of investment as well as to regulation and reporting requirements.

Crowe Clark Whitehill, one of the UK’s leading audit and advisory firms to the not for profit sector also has expertise in Social Housing, gained through more than ten years of active involvement in the sector.

In addition, to the broader services we provide to Not for Profits generally we assist Housing Associations with:

  • specialist advice on the Construction Industry Scheme
  • validation of business plans, annual efficiency statements and performance indicators
  • service charge statement audits.
