Davis Kallukaran
David Kallukaran is the Founding member and managing Partner of Horwath MAK Ghazali, Chartered Accountants Muscat; a top ten audit firm in the Sultanate of Oman. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered accountants of India and has co-opted to the International affairs committee of the council of the Institute of chartered Accountants of India New Delhi 2007-08. He is revered as the founding Chairman of the Muscat Chapter of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India 2008-09 and has provided valuable contributions as the Vice Chairman of the Steering committee set up by The College of Banking and Financial studies of the Sultanate of Oman to set up an Institute of Chartered Accountants of Oman. He has co authored a book on Taxation of Non resident Indians and is a regular columnist for the Times of Oman on Tax related matters. He is a Certified member of The Institute of certified fraud examiners of the US.

He is also a USA qualified Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Internal Control Auditor. He specializes in business setup, offshore formations and real estate consultancy. He is a writer on various business issues for some of the major media publications in UAE. He is an expert in feasibility studies and is behind many prestigious studies conducted for manufacturing, real estate and trading businesses.

Zayd Maniar
Is a practicing member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is a registered auditor with the Ministry of Economy, Government of Dubai. He is the International Liaison Partner for the firm and ensures that all international assignments and operations are executed adequately, as Horwath MAK has a lot of overseas and leading multinational clients, as well as excellent working relationships with leading Crowe Horwath International members. He trained with a UK Top 50 firm where his areas of specialty included industrial clients as well as the British film industry. His areas of interest include taxation and cross border mergers and acquisitions. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Honors’ from the University of Reading and was one of the top graduates of his class. Zayd believes, while diversification brings dilution of risk, organizations need to focus on their core competencies to ensure stability and long term success.

With over 16 years work experience in industry and profession, Mr. Khalid Mehmood is a Qualified Chartered Accountant from Ernst & Young. He is an MBA from ZSABIST, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from USA, a Certified Islamic Professional Accountant (CIPA) from AAOIFI and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from Australia. His areas of interest include audit assurance, financial institutions, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), business advisory and fraud investigations.

Saad Maniar
Saad Maniar is a fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK and carries over 15 years of experience in practice. He is an elected member of International Assembly of ACCA, UK and on the advisory committee of ACCA in UAE. In past he has been an elected board member of Dubai Quality Group and served Government of Dubai in his capacity as a senior assessor for Dubai Quality Award. He is a member of Corporate Reporting Forum of ACCA, UK and is an expert on matters relating to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), having strong focus on interpretation, disclosures and practical applications. Besides this he leads the governance, risk and compliance practice for Crowe Horwath in the Middle East and also plays a role as a Quality Assurance Director for UAE and Oman.
