Our Directors 

Adel Maniar 

Adel is an expert on matters relating to communications, branding & media. He is the Director - Communications & Compliance, and is involved in coordinating the Horwath Mak offices with the global branding strategies & standards of Crowe Horwath International. Being a member firm we show a strong support and commitment to building a single global brand; and part of Adel's role involves overseeing that Horwath Mak is on track. Furthermore he’s involved in the managing of internal & external communications of the firm. In addition, establishes & overlooks the Human Resources, Administration and Online Media policies.

Kamran Ahmad 

Kamran Ahmad Abbasi is a Fellow Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and Member of Institute of Public Accountants (Australia) with over 10 years’ experience in profession. His area of interest includes Audit, Assurance and International Financial Reporting Standards. His expertise includes providing audit and assurance services to Petroleum trading companies, offshore construction companies and educational institutions.

Shashi Ashok 

He is an MBA graduate from University of Wollongong and a certified Investment Consultant. A dynamic professional with over 6 years of rich experience in Financial Management, Investment - Portfolio Management. He has served Multinational Bank, Dubai, as a Portfolio Manager, thereby reviewing portfolio of High net worth professionals with more than $500 million. Has provided numerous services for clients including due diligence investigations, business valuations, financial projections and preparation of confidential memorandums used to sell a business or obtain financing. Has led the team of professionals in valuation exercises for M&A transactions, brand and goodwill valuations, and asset acquisition transactions for not only private companies but also semi-government firms.

Joyce Njeri 

A Master’s Business Graduate from the University of Wales in Cardiff, UK, Joyce has over 15 years of media experience, with previous mainstream editorial stints in Johannesburg, Nairobi and Dubai. She is an accomplished finance media professional, and is widely respected and acknowledged in providing leading commentary on the region’s financial and business developments. Due to this recognition, she was declared the 'Finance Journalist of the Year' in 2013 - an honour bestowed upon her by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
